Vehicle Description: L6-226 engine, 12 V (original- I think), turn signals, new: headliner, seat covers, heater (part of AC install), tires, springs, 30 gallon gas tank, radio/cassette - mounted in an extra radio door, radiator, new-obsolete-replacement-carb, new speedometer/instrument assembly. I added seat belts all around, and ultimately will add retractable shoulder harness/seat belts. I also added the door mounted mirrors and upgraded the center interior mirror. I have also replaced the floor mat with one of the JC Whitney ones and touched up the paint on the side panels. I currently have a set of five 1970ish Jeep Renegade Aluminum rims on it.

Vehicle Story: I first saw the vehicle at Badlands (Used) Jeep/Truck Sales - in Tucson. I was told it was traded in for a newer 4x4 (Bronco-I think). I talked about it with my Brother, and he actually purchased it. He had it for a couple of years before we traded, and I ended up with it! Since then I have had quite a bit of work done on it. Very soon, it will get the professionally rebuilt 226, rebuilt tansmission, rebuilt transfer case AND an Overdrive. How SWEET it will be then!
