Vehicle Story: i got this car from my great uncle when i was 14 and i started work when i was 16 and this past summer i did the engine and trans swap and a rediculous amount of work by myself. it finally started working this past week for spring break.
i had been sold the wrong torque converter over the summer and i got a new one while i was away at school so the first night i got back, i got under the car and, without a trans jack, put the trans back in and hooked everything up. i went for a joyride with open headers the next day and scared the entire neighborhood, my dad could hear it from a mile away. it was amazing. but overall im going for a classic 60´s cruiser, flat black two tone, tuck and roll interior, glasspacks, everything homemade and cheap to look good and functional, mainly for going out with the boys and having fun, cruising the tower shops car show and the beach. i rie with the hood off so everyone knows whats making the music.
