Vehicle Description: This is my baby, my pride and joy. It is in the finishing stages of a complete frame up Rodstoration. It has a Chevy 355 pumping around 320 hp, a Warn overdrive, disc brakes, and many other doodads which make it a joy to drive and show off. Hope you all like it! I gathered SO much information through Willy Tech, and I owe the completion of this Wagon to all of you who were so generous with your time, advice, and parts.

Vehicle Story: It started its current life in Austin, MN, where I purchased it for $800 and towed it back to my home in Wausau, WI. The poor thing had been sitting for 10 years and showed it. The floors, front and rear were GONE. The motor was stuck, with cracked heads and mice living in the intake. The windows were all either gone or broken and the PO had done a horrible, sacreligious job of hacking the body all to bits, and filling every orifice with Bondo (the side panel indents were flush with the rest of the body), and spray foam insulation. I was 18 years old and a senior in high school with no knowledge and no money but a lot of motivation. I took it down to the frame, which was ground down to bare steel, repaired, and POR15´d. I built the engine myself, for reliabilty and drivability, I rebuilt the stock t90 and d18 per the infamous rebuild guides put together by Rick Stivers I believe. I rebuilt the axles (huge pain) myself and bought all new stock suspension. I deemed the body unrepairable and purchased another, straighter one from Bob Stewart (thanks again!). Three days after installing the body back on the frame I moved 1200 miles away to MT where I am currently enrolled in college. The Willys came with me and even though I had to work in an unheated, tiny storage unit, I continued to plug away at it. All last summer I repaired the body and tried to do the ole´ beaut justice. I painted it in my garage myself using a three stage Plymouth Prowler Red factory color. I am still finishing the interior, but it is now drivable and it is SO WORTH THE WORK! More when completely finished.
