Vehicle Story: I bought the vehicl 3 years ago and have worked on it continuously (more or less). The first 3 months was just cutting out rust and replacing it with fresh metal. Next came the bed shorting. I wanted it just long enough for me to sleep in. The Ford doner F-150 came my way and 29 1/8 inches was taken out of the frame to accommodate the willys. All I really lost was the extra gas tank and the need to change the drive shaft lengths. The only real work in putting the body and bed on was welding the new body mounts on the frame. The time consuming part was the wiring. The fun part was the metal fab to make everything work. Its maiden voyage was the 21st of Aug 2004 and all the big parts work. It is still just primer with paint scheduled after I make a couple of changes that I should have done right the first time.
