Vehicle Description: Model 6-226. The truck is bone stock (the way I like ´em) with original flat head six plus lock-out hubs and a Warn overdrive. The body is finished in one-stage acrylic enamel in the original President Red. The wheels should also be red, but a Willys color (Palm Beach Ivory) was used on the wheels & grille bars for contrast. It does have the correct black & gray interior. By the way, I bought the interior "headliner" panels in the correct gray color from Walck´s. They don´t show them in the catalog, you have to ask. One of the guys there makes them up on special order. They fit nicely and look correct. I also had a local sign painter make a stencil and the truck has "WILLYS" across the tailgate. Well worth the expense. When we are able to update photos, I´ll provide a rear shot.

Vehicle Story: I found this one right here on Willys Tech. It was nearly completed by last owner in California. I have finished the interior and taken care of some small details. Runs great, rides nice and looks really fine. You see it here photographed in front of San Felipe de Neri church in Old Town Albuquerque. All shined up and getting ready for Albuquerque´s Tri-centennial celebration this year (that´s right, Boston, 300 years!).
