Vehicle Description: I purchased ´Vern´ in March 2001 and have been restoring him since. Vern has had the royal, stock treatment from me so far. Sandblasted rims and painted, new tires, rear axle gone through, two frame holes professionally patched, brand new brake- all of it! New fluids, tune up, filter´s some painting, minor engine work, new exhaust and hanger, some new wiring, stock seats put in, seatbelts professionally installed, retored wipers etc etc... Right now he is getting the body redone: fenders, cowl, rockers, quarter panels, tailpan, tailgate, lift gate, door bottoms, floor pans, wheel wells, entire rear floor..... :-) Extensive work, estimated to cost $2500-3000 in labor.

Vehicle Story: He was purchased in Strausberg PA and hauled home, his previous owner had done some modifications to him and driven him daily, most likely since when he was purchased in ´79. Vern went through a F-134, 289 and is running off a Camero 305. He also has a one stick transfer case that I don´t care for and want to change back to stock. He came with his original F-134 and alot of the original parts. When I got him, he was covered in grease, hardly running and very rusty. I believe the wagon is a left over from ´51 as it has the tailgate, taillight patch, ivory knobs, push button door release, early gagues too.
